The Polar Bear

NGC is a Northern Ontario based contracting company that specializes in landscaping. For over 20 years now this family owned company has been improving the lives of our customers by creating a landscape for them to enjoy living their lives. NGC has become experts at applying landscape architecture techniques to the unique requirements of northern climates. 

Over the years NGC has developed a proven track record that not only includes landscaping but extends to all sorts of projects that have included sculptures, recreation centers, swimming pools, custom beaches, and even home construction and renovation.

Not only does NGC employ the latest in high tech equipment, such as custom curbing machinery, but they have the knowledge, creativity, and experience to take maximum advantage of the tools employed.

NGC has a significant track record in the use of heavy equipment as well. Excavation, earth moving, and other high impact construction is second nature.

If your job is big or small, we are the preferred solution. Part of our mission statement is to always remain a company capable of rapidly adapting to changing local requirements and customers needs. We will always remain flexible enough so that we can quickly dispatch a work team especially suited to the specific job requirements. Our customers can relax and be assured that the personnel most experienced in the specific job requirements are on site and leading the work team in a minimum amount of time.

NGC’s Good Landscaping Award

New to   2008, each  year NGC will designate a winning customer to receive this award.

NGC’s  2008  Winner of Good Landscaping  Award is “Alffie’s Yard”  –  Through the addition of block fences, tree rings, steps, fish ponds, picnic tables (Flintstone block picnic table with marble benches and top), raised flower beds, fire pits,  arbour and hot tub room a yard is transformed into a fabulous outdoor environment; a personal retreat that is located on a corner lot over looking lake Commando in Cochrane.  This retreat developed over an eight year period by NGC. Congratulations Alffie!

One of NCG’s specialties is the creation of beautiful paving stone (lock stone) driveways, stairs, custom curbs, and other landscaping structures.
